Our Self-Care Routine
With our busy lives taking up our time and energy, there’s never been a better time to look after number one. Self-care is so important and is a great way to reduce anxiety and stress as well as uplifting your mood. We all need to take time for ourselves, to recharge, relax and maintain a positive relationship with ourselves. Creating a good work-life balance is key, always make time for yourself. Overworking without balancing in relaxing aspects of your lifestyle can lead to exhaustion and stress which will make you less productive, tired and stressed. Self-care is quite simply taking the time to do an activity that benefits our mental, emotional and physical health. Below, we have created a self-care routine to help and inspire you to realign.
6am - Rise
An early start is a great way to not only get things done but it also gives you a sense of routine and pattern. The more you stick to a routine, the simpler mornings will be!
The best way to start the day is with something invigorating like exercise, our team enjoy running and yoga. Exercise is a great way to wake up your mind and body, getting you ready for the rest of the day. It can enhance your metabolism and help you sleep better. However, this is easier said than done, why would you want to get up when you’re in your cosy bed? Below are some helpful tips to get you ready for the day ahead!
· Set an alarm, as many as it takes!
· Drink lots of water to wake up refreshed.
· Make sure you do a warmup to wake your body up first.
· Make your exercise time short, around 30 minutes will be enough.
Our team really enjoy yoga and find that having a candle burning with a calming fragrance really helps to get them in the zone. Relaxing embrace is one of our favourite fragrances as it creates a tranquil atmosphere, with notes of bergamot, rosemary and peppermint wrapped in a comforting medley of lavender and geranium, it truly is a tranquil scent.
8am - Tidy
Time to tidy up! Start your day off by cleaning, tidying or decluttering, make your living space a peaceful setting for the rest of the day. Having a clean and tidy house will make you feel organized and help you concentrate, as they say tidy life, tidy mind. Why not create a playlist to help you get in the cleaning mood? And when you're done why not light a candle with a fresh and clean scent to enhance your hard work. Opting for one of our laundry inspired scents will have your home smelling clean and fresh all day long!

Go outside, switch off and get a bit of you time. Spending some quality time outside and embracing nature is a great way to center yourself. Whether you go for a walk, have a picnic or do something with your family, the great outdoors will help you to unwind. A great way to truly switch off is to put away tech!
