How to make bloody candles
Perfect for Halloween, our "bloody" candles tutorial will help you create an eerie atmosphere at your Halloween party! Why not transform your pillar candles into bloody masterpieces?
What you need:
- Pre-made white pillar candles
- Pillar Wax
- Red candle dye
- Spoon
- Saucepan
- Bowl
- Thermometer
Step 1 – Wax
With your pillar candle pre made, measure out your wax, use between 40-80 grams of wax.
Fill your pan halfway with boiling water.
Melt your wax on a medium to low heat and stir until melted.
Step 2 – Red Dye
Once melted take off the heat, add a few drops of red candle dye and stir.
Step 3 – Pour
Using a spoon, carefully drip red wax down your pillar candle, creating the blood dripping effect.
Step 4 – Set
Leave your candles to set overnight before lighting and enjoy!
